🌈 The Big Queer Dine-In🌈
Join us for a big queer-dine in on Saturday, 12th April, 4 pm - 7 pm.
Bring a dish, do some crafts, share some food with our queer family, and join in a community conversation about the future of Our House.
This is a chance to connect with your local queer community and help to shape Our House into the space that Wakefield’s LGBTQ+ community needs.
We can’t wait to see you there!
Accessibility:
- This event is held at Our House, 172 Kirkgate, WF1 1UD
- Children are welcome but we ask anyone under the age of 16 be accompanied by someone over 18
- We have highchairs and activities in our kids corner for children, and board games visitors can use free of charge.
- The centre has street-level access and is wheelchair accessible.
- The toilet facilities are gender-neutral and are wheelchair accessible.
- The cafe serves both dairy and milk alternatives, and we offer a range of vegan and non-vegan snacks.
- This is an alcohol-free and drug-free space; anyone who brings drugs or alcohol into the centre will be asked to leave.
- The cafe runs a ‘pay it forward’ scheme; if you can't afford a drink, please ask a team member, and they will happily tell you about it.
- All the proceeds from our shop and cafe go to the centre's upkeep.
