True Colours is a safe, confidential space where you can be authentic, share your experiences, and connect with others in the community.

Whether you're seeking support, friendship, or just a welcoming space to express yourself, True Colours is here for you. Come along, be part of a supportive network, and let your true colours shine brightly.

Enjoy a relaxed afternoon of creativity, good company, and delicious coffee.

This is a relaxed drop-in session, meaning you can pop in for a little while or stay for the whole session. Bring along your current craft project and some extra supplies to share with others, if you have any.

All skill levels and ages are welcome. Let's create, chat, and connect!

🌈 Our WEEKLY LGBTQ+ Games Night 🌈

Join our dedicated LGBTQ+ Games Night in Wakefield! Allies welcome. Dive into board games, RPGs, TTDnD campaigns and retro console tournaments - with our doors staying open late.

Entry is free we just ask that people make purchases regularly from the cafe to help us cover costs! The full menu from The Pizza Yard is also available in-house.

Accessibility:

• - This event is held at Our House, 172 Kirkgate, WF1 1UD

• - Children are welcome but we ask anyone under the age of 16 be accompanied by someone over 18

• - We have highchairs and activities in our kids corner for children, and board games visitors can use free of charge.

• - The centre has street-level access and is wheelchair accessible.

• - The toilet facilities are gender-neutral and are wheelchair accessible.

• - The cafe serves both dairy and milk alternatives, and we offer a range of vegan and non-vegan snacks.

• - This is an alcohol-free and drug-free space; anyone who brings drugs or alcohol into the centre will be asked to leave.

• - The cafe runs a ‘pay it forward’ scheme; if you can't afford a drink, please ask a team member, and they will happily tell you about it.

• - All the proceeds from our shop and cafe go to the centre's upkeep.
